Another tip for avocados. I always buy them green and let them get perfectly ripe in the pantry or on the counter and THEN put them in the fridge. They last for a week or so in there and you don't have to worry about them getting overripe.

I have the same type of fridge and hate it. Our new home will have a freezer on the bottom. But for now, I’m going to Dollar Tree and getting baskets like that, because we have so much frozen fruit in there that it’s hard to find anything and I keep buying more of the same things.

I need to start doing that. I’m 64 and the kids have been out of the house for 12+ years and some days I don’t even get dressed and when I’m like that, I don’t want to go anywhere. I feel if I had a routine like yours and did my Bible study early, I’d be able to go have coffee or lunch with friends on short notice.

The biggest tip I have is to always lock the door before jacking in your room so there are no embarrassing or awkward family member situations
